Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy 100th Anniversary Celebration

On October 18, Dr. Arūnas Svitojus, President of the Chamber of Agriculture, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Vytautas Magnus University Academy of Agriculture community on the momentous occasion of its 100th anniversary.

“During the period of the First Republic of Lithuania, there were only six higher education institutions in the country. While that may seem limited, it was, in fact, a significant achievement for a small state. During the interwar period, Lithuania was primarily an agricultural nation, which underscored the vital role of the Academy of Agriculture in training qualified specialists. Today, this institution continues to nurture talent for the rural and agricultural sectors, spearhead innovative projects, and foster a vibrant agricultural science community. We wish you continued prosperity and a future filled with remarkable opportunities,” remarked Dr. Svitojus.
